There’s no doubt about it.  Taking that big step and buying your first stock is a scary experience.  And what makes it even harder is so much of the stock market is alien and confusing.   Even worse, every training seminar and course claims to be the best.  TechniTrader® Stock Market Trading Education for Novice TradersHow can you sort it all out to find the right training for you?

Here are a few tips to help you:

bull There is no such thing as a “Get rich quick scheme.” These strategies don’t work, and you know it.  So if a free seminar starts out with some guy yelling about how much money you can make, or claims you can become an instant millionaire with little effort on your part, then be wary.

bullDoes the program include: Fundamental, Technical, AND Risk Analysis?  In today’s marketplace you must be able to read charts and know what an indicator is and how to use them. For more on charts and indicators go to our informational pages on Candlesticks and Indicators.  Risk Analysis is rarely taught.  Be sure your training includes this vital part of trading the market, especially if you have a small capital base.  See our Risk Analysis page for more information.

bullDoes the training course have a certified training staff?  The Securities Exchange Commission now requires that even technical advisors be certified.  We are one of the only training programs that has a fully certified C.M.T. on staff that works with students, guiding them with daily market training while they learn to trade.  Visit the C.M.T. page for more information.

bullDoes the training seminar or program include guidance after you finish the course or are you all on your own to try and figure out what to do next?  Our training doesn’t stop after you have finished the course. The next step is our hands-on training where you practice what you have learned on a simulator to hone your skills and gain experience in a safe environment before you go live in the market.  Our staff is with you all the way, with daily lessons that reinforce our training methods and answers to your questions as you learn.  But that is not where our training stops. Once you have completed the first phase of hands-on training on the trading simulator, you now start experiencing the live market via C.M.T.s' and Technical Analysts' on-going educational emails that give you live market analysis and further stock market training.  Step by step, you gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence you need to be successful.  All of this is included in our Methodology Course for new investors.   See our Student Guidance page for more information.

bullIs it really a training program or is it just a gimmick to sell a product such as a charting program, trading system, or platform?  Many companies offer a rudimentary so-called ‘stock market training seminar’.  But it’s nothing more than a way to lure you into a hotel so they can sell you their real product which is no education but a software program for trading.  Make sure you are getting a real education and not just a few minutes of hype before a big long sales pitch.  Are they teaching or are they selling?  We don’t do free seminars.  But we know you need to experience how we teach, so we offer a Free online lesson that shows you how we teach.  You will learn a great deal about the stock market from our introductory webclip.  This allows you the freedom of learning about us on your own, in the privacy of your home.  To learn more about our Free online lesson click here.
